Secret Garden

Good evening everyone!! :)  How are we all?? fabulous i hope!, tonight i am going to pop on my first card made using one of the lovely new stamps from JUST INKLINED this one is called Secret Garden and it is just beautiful!
The stamps are a really good size too so i chose to put this image on an 8x8 inch size card, now my favourite colour is green,  and a perfect colour to pick out from the foliage on the stamped image.
I stamped  onto the La pashe  250gsm card stock  Check out the web site HERE! its THE perfect medium for stamping! i embossed my image first using clear embossing powder and then coloured in using my lovely Pro markers. I then inked around the edge using Tim Holtz Peeled paint. the backing paper i found on one of the other la pashe CD roms but not quite being the correct colour green i wanted i simply got to work with some cut n dry and my ink pad to match up my colours

then to work adding embellishments!! pink and green ribbon it just had to be to pick out my sweet little pink flowers on the image, a little bit of die cutting... a couple of bows and lastly PINS!!! love em! i coloured three pins in using my pro markers picking out the two shades of green and pink in my card.. a quick little printed sentiment and voila ! One secret garden card. hope you like it!! would love to know if you do... right folks...i'm logging out for a while but i will be popping back tomorrow with my second stamped image from JUST INKLINED  so hope you'll take a peek to see what it is!. don't forget to check out all the other Design Team members pages for more lovely designs from LA PASHE you will find some outstanding cards full of loads of inspiration!! bye for now...Nix xx

Two Peas in a iPod

Monday again? ooooh I do wish my weekend was a little longer !! :) lots of projects to do this week, i have a nice big order to start for a lovely lady in Switzerland which is exciting! i will share that a little later, but for now i am going to pop on my last card i made from the new "Wrinklies" range from LA PASHE!
I thought this was such a sweet image! I decided to make it into a Golden Wedding Anniversary card,
The backing papers and decoupage elements are from the " Wrinklies"paper range or Cd rom, i chose a twisted easel card for this one, so I used some lovely gold card as my base and gold mirri board to edge, a couple of fancy swirls cut from my faithful Grand Calibur- which i love and i'm quite new to really! (Shocking i know!!) then i found the most beautiful verse, i chose to highlight some of the words in the verse by choosing a different font...what do you think? I like it :) and two little gold hearts to finish! sweet and simple, i cant wait to play with the rest of the images on the CD, later this week i will be posting some cards i made with the new range of stamps just out from JUST INKLINED why not pop over and take a look!, hope you will pop by and see what i've made!! , as always thank you millions for stopping by!! ...Nix xx

Selection of Mothers Day Cards

Well hello everyone... its been a very busy couple of crafting weeks in my little crafting bubble! so my poor little blog has been slightly neglected! oops! ...but, i'm back! with the surge of Mothers Day orders at a close i can get back on track!
Tonight i am just going to share with you a few simple cards i have made recently, and very soon i will be able to show you some exciting DT work and some more exciting new projects!
This first card is from the Flippin Women Range from La Pashe I love these images! so much fun, there are quite a few to choose from too, this one i printed from "The Big One" CD rom, I matted simply onto some hot pink card and chose to put the decoupaged elements straight onto the backing paper, a nice flash of matching ribbon, and some glossy accents for the bubbles! I matched up the wording in hot pink too, and done!i have to say in my 3 short years of card making this was my busiest mothers day yet! and the most popular cards i have made this year have been the adorable "Pickles and Podge" i love them! now... i wont bore you all with many cards the same...as i made a few!!! so here is a small selection of some of the cards i made this week
How cute!!
...so pwetty...
...do you agree? just beautiful!! i made all these cards in the same way.. i started with my background by enlarging, fading and cropping the original image in my graphic programme, i made each topper by using the decoupage elements and then chose matching ribbons, flowers & gems for each card and of course added lashings of lovely glitter...it has to be done!, i am just LOVING pins on my cards at the moment and the ones i have used here and in all my other cards, i have simply coloured with my promarkers :) all the cards here i have printed out on the new range of papers from La Pashe, if you havnt tried them yet you MUST! they are lovely! so pop on over just Here! and check them out. The cd i used to print from was the new The Best Of La Pashe cd rom, which is just fabby and a must for all crafters..but i'm sure you all know that ;).
I would love you to drop me a message and tell me what you think... i have only realised tonight that i had my settings all wrong :/ as quite a few of my lovely friends are letting me know they have left me a comment but they were not showing when i looked :( but bare with me! i'm still learning all about this blogging lark!, well thats enough of me waffling tonight, i have a date with a nice glass of wine :) so happy crafting all! Nix xx
